The Good Phight Predicts the 2015 Playoffs and Awards

New, 3 comments

The staff of The Good Phight proves that the idea that one cannot predict baseball is straight hogwash as they offer insightful and original predictions for the 2015 MLB season.

Yes, we know: the 2015 season started yesterday and the Phillies started playing baseball over an hour ago.  Regardless of timing, we have an obligation to fulfill qua site of baseball commentary and #analysis to provide our loyal readers with predictions for the upcoming/already-underway season that they can take to the bank.

Please offer your season predictions in the comments and do tell us how smart we are. That's really what keeps us going here at The Good Phight.

A couple Phillies-related notes on this compilation of predictions:

  • None of us has the Phillies making the playoffs, not even as a second Wild Card. Not even homerism can make any of us delusional enough to see the Phillies as a playoff team.
  • The only Phillie appearance was Cole Hamels as a Cy Young candidate. Both schmenkman and David S. Cohen had him as their predicted winner. Presumably, this also means they predict that Hamels will either a) remain a Phillie for the entirety of 2015 or b) be traded to a team in the National League.
So, there you have it. Predictions from the 'experts.' Let us know where you think we went astray or which predictions we totally nailed. We would prefer you contribute more of the latter than the former.
