A week or so into the season, the Rockies are fun to watch. Look at Troy Tulowitzki! Look at Carlos Gonzalez! Remember when Charlie Blackmon went 5-for-5 on opening day? Was that this year? Did that happen?
Anyways, at some point, the supercharged Rockies plummet back to the earth, shattering their bones and decimating their bodies. Tulowitzki, a respected specimen league-wide, makes you wonder where his MVP award is, and then reminds you by missing a few months to a gaping head wound. Carlos Gonzalez's bones are hollow. Everybody cringes when Justin Morneau does anything, on the field or not.
They're not fragile, they're just injury prone, and when that proneness shows its head, the Rockies deflate, and, well. They're deflating.
#Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki left tonight's game with left quadriceps tightness.

#Rockies put Justin Morneau on 7-day DL with neck strain and concussion symptoms. 7-day because of concussion protocol

Say it isn't so.... #Rockies closer Adam Ottavino placed on Disabled List (right triceps inflammation). 15-day DL.

And, so on.
Don't feel bad. The Rockies put Kyle Kendrick on the mound opening day. The Phillies will see every starting pitcher over this four-game set except KK, somehow, but with a sweep of the Diamondbacks and a five-game win streak behind them, what can't these Phillies do?!
