Game 44 Open Thread: Phillies at Nationals

It's time for a real test for the Phillies. Like they need one.

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

After playing - and winning! - against some of the league's flimsier squads from Arizona and Colorado. It's a test the Phillies have failed quite resoundingly this season,

Bryce Harper seems primed to break out even harder, as the most effective countermeasure to him at the plate recently has been to "run away, screaming." He's not even being impatient anymore! Facing Sean O'Sullivan to start things off isn't hugely inspiring, but O'Sullivan did pitch the game of his life last time out, so if now isn't the time for a weak shrug of hope, then, you know. *shrugs weakly*

Happy Memorial Day weekend, everybody. Go Ryan Howard! Go Chase Utley! Go away, Nationals! You're bad!
