Game 27 Open Thread: Phillies at Braves

I hate the NL East. I hate it and all the teams contained within.

It looks like he's vomiting up the ball.

HOW ARE THE NEXT TWO SERIES WITH NL EAST OPPONENTS. HOW. WHY. WERE THE MLB SCHEDULERS TRYING TO BORE PHILLIES FANS TO DEATH SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO WATCH THE SLOWLY UNFOLDING HORROR OF THE 2015 SEASON?! BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY REASON I CAN COME UP WITH.

Ahem. Welcome to a brand new week, where the Phillies are facing the Braves AGAIN. BECAUSE THERE ARE ONLY FOUR OTHER TEAMS IN MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL, FOLKS.

AAAAAAAUGH

Let's get to the lineup before my head blows off.

Today's Lineups

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES ATLANTA BRAVES
Ben Revere - LF Nick Markakis - RF
Odubel Herrera - CF Andrelton Simmons - SS
Chase Utley - 2B Freddie Freeman - 1B
Darin Ruf - 1B A.J. Pierzynski - C
Jeff Francoeur - RF Jonny Gomes - LF
Cesar Hernandez - 3B Alberto Callaspo - 3B
Carlos Ruiz - C Jace Peterson - 2B
Freddy Galvis - SS Cameron Maybin - CF
Aaron Harang - RHP Alex Wood - LHP

Ha, like the lineup would have helped my head from blowing off. So funny! Cesar Hernandez is hitting sixth today, sitting in for the ice cold Cody Asche. Darin Ruf is finally giving Ryan Howard a day off. And the rest of the lineup is just as you've been seeing the past couple of weeks. Ryne Sandberg manages to be both boring and incompetent at the same time. It's a rare gift.
