Jesse is a friend, yeah, I know he's been a good friend of mine, but lately something's changed, it ain't hard to define...

Today's Probables:

LHV: David Buchanan
REA: Zach Eflin
CLR: David Whitehead
LWD: Josh Taylor

Lehigh Valley 12, Louisville 1

Jason Berken - 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 2 HBP, 4 GB, 4 FB
Cesar Jimenez - 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, BB, K
Hector Neris - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K
Chase d'Arnaud - 2 for 5, 2 R, BB, SB
Brian Bogusevic - 4 for 6, 3 R, 2B, HR, 4 RBI
Domonic Brown - 1 for 6, R, RBI, K
Maikel Franco - 3 for 5, HR, 2 RBI
Chris McGuiness - 3 for 4, 2 R, 2B, RBI, BB
Jordan Danks - 3 for 5, 2 R, 2B, HR, 2 RBI, 2 K
Cord Phelps - 2 for 4, 2 RBI, 2 K
Rene Garcia - 1 for 5, R

Everybody hits! Jason Berken and the bullpen were solid as the IronPigs slug 19 hits, including 3 homers. Franco's was his second this season. The entire team has been hitting well as of late. The win brought Lehigh Valley's record to 7-20.

Reading 11, New Hampshire 9

Jesse Biddle - 4 IP, 10 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 2 GB, 3 FB
Hoby Milner - 2.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, K
Lee Ridenhour - 1.1 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, WP
Stephen Shackleford - 1.1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, K
Roman Quinn - 1 for 4, R, 3B, BB, K
KC Serna - 1 for 5, R, RBI, K
Aaron Altherr - 1 for 5, R, 2 K
Art Charles - 3 for 5, 3 R, 2 2B, HR, 3 RBI, 2 K
Cam Perkins - 2 for 3, 3 R, 2B, HR, 2 RBI, BB, HBP, SB
Brian Pointer - 1 for 4, RBI, BB, 2 K

Biddle struggles mightily in this one, unable to really locate his pitches. He doesn't factor into the decision despite getting 7 runs of support. Milner gets the win in his 2015 debut. Big games for Charles and Perkins. Charles tends to get streaky and could very well go on a nice little run in the next few games. Roman Quinn with his 4th triple of the season.

Brevard County 2, Clearwater 1

Colin Kleven - 5 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 5 GB, 5 FB
Reinier Roibal - 3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, K, HBP
Harold Guerrero - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K
Drew Stankiewicz - 0 for 2, R, 2 BB
Andrew Pullin - 1 for 3, 2B, K
Andrew Knapp - 1 for 4, RBI
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 4, 2 K
Willians Astudillo - 1 for 4, 2B
Angelo Mora - 1 for 3, BB, 2 K
Zach Green - 1 for 4, K

Kleven's quality start streak ends at 3 games and picks up his 2nd loss of the season. He has steadily seen his ERA decrease in each of his 5 starts. The Threshers are held to 6 hits (only 1 XBH) and go 1 for 8 with RISP. Their lone run came on an RBI groundout from Andrew Knapp in the 6th inning.
