The Phillies won last night's battle of the aces, so they'll try to make it two in a row against the Mets tonight at Citizens Bank Park. I'm guessing the Mets are annoyed that they lost, considering that they're a much better team than the Phillies. But last night, Cole Hamels was even better. So suck it, Mets.
Let's see who these division rivals (or "rivals" at this point) are sending onto the diamond tonight.
Chase Utley is benched tonight, I'm guessing because his average is unbelievably terrible. Cody Asche, who is subzero cold right now, is getting the night off in favor of Andres Blanco. Ryan Howard is also not in tonight's lineup, even though Jon Niese is a lefty and Howard has finally started to heat up. But that sort of decision is par for the course with Ryne Sandberg, whose every decision somehow makes the Phillies even worse.
You don't deserve this, Aaron Harang!
