Rapid Reaction: Phillies 11, Yankees 8

Tonight's game was closer than it should have been, but that didn't wipe out the absolute offensive EXPLOSION from the Phillies, who whupped the Yankees 11-8. The Phillies ended the night with 18 hits, which is oviously a season hight

This was Maikel Franco's night through and through. He went 4-for-5 and hit two home runs. One of them was a monster, landing in the second deck of Yankee Stadium. It was glorious. I loved every second.
