MLB All-Star Game Open Thread

The Phillies have exactly one player in the All-Star Game. We don't have to talk about him.

David Kohl-USA TODAY Sports

The Phillies have a lone player in tonight's All-Star game.

You know it.

Jonathan Papelbon is an absolute boob (as my dad would say), but he's grown on me. Like mold, or ivy destroying a brick house. He's our best bet for glory or utter embarrassment this All-Star Game. But there are other guys playing in the game as well! Look at all those non-Phillies.

Mike Trout - CF Andrew McCutchen - CF
Josh Donladson - 3B Todd Frazier - 3B
Albert Pujols - 1B Bryce Harper - RF
Nelson Cruz - DH Paul Goldschmidt - 1B
Lorenzo Cain - RF Buster Posey - C
Adam Jones - LF Anthony Rizzo - DH
Salvador Perez - C Jhonny Peralta - SS
Jose Altuve - 2B Joc Pederson - LF
Alcides Escobar - SS DJ LeMahieu - 2B

So many non-Phillies. Is that a reason to watch tonight's game? Only you can be the judge of that.
