Game 93 Open Thread: Marlins at Phillies

Will the Phillies build on last night's win, or will they be the Phillies?

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Phillies won last night!

No, don't laugh! They totally did! They really won! They were losing and then they were tied and then they were leading and then Jeff Francoeur hit a three-run home run and they WON!

It seems conspicuous, and even pathetic, to give so much attention and adulation to just one win, considering the Phillies play 162 games every season. But last night's win was just the Phillies' 30th on the year. When wins are that few and far between, each and every one needs to be celebrated and nurtured and enjoyed to the fullest, since we don't know when we're going to experience on again.

And that reminds me: on to tonight's lineups!

Today's Lineups

MIAMI MARLINS PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES
Ichiro Suzuki - RF Ben Revere - CF
Martin Prado - 2B Cesar Hernandez - 2B
Christian Yelich - LF Maikel Franco - 3B
Justin Bour - 1B Ryan Howard - 1B
Adeiny Hechavarria - SS Carlos Ruiz - C
Derek Dietrich - 3B Domonic Brown - RF
J.T. Realmuto - C Freddy Galvis - SS
Cole Gillespie - CF Cody Asche - LF
Tom Koehler - RHP Chad Billingsley - RHP

Did we celebrate nurture last night's win enough? I hope so. I want the win to come back. Come back, win! I love yoooouuuuu!
