After inconsiderately losing Aaron Nola's impressive major league debut (BOOO), the Phillies are back at it today at 1:05, hoping to beat the Rays and get a series win. What are the chances of that happening? Let's check out the lineups for some insight.
|TAMPA BAY RAYS||PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES|
|Brandon Guyer - CF||Ben Revere - CF|
|Steven Souza - RF||Freddy Galvis - SS|
|Evan Longoria - 3B||Cesar Hernandez - 2B|
|Logan Forsythe - 2B||Ryan Howard - 1B|
|Joey Butler - LF||Andres Blanco - 3B|
|Tim Beckham - SS||Domonic Brown - RF|
|Jake Elmore - 1B||Carlos Ruiz - C|
|Rene Rivera - C||Cody Asche - LF|
|Jake Odorizzi - RHP||Adam Morgan - LHP|
Maikel Franco is still out with elbow soreness, so Andres Blanco is filling in and is probably super glad that someone on the Phillies remembered he exists for two whole games in a row. Ben Revere is back in the lineup and Odubel Herrera is not, which is how it should be most of the time. Carlos Ruiz is getting the start to give Cameron Rupp a rest after the night game. And Adam Morgan gets his fifth start of the season. In three of his four starts he's given up two earned runs or less, so I'm feeling good about Adam Morgan today.
Let's see what happens!
