Game 102 Open Thread: Phillies at Blue Jays

Oh goody, the Phillies get to face Troy Tulowitzki. It's really just super duper totally awesome.

Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

Guess what!? Jonathan Papelbon is still on the Nationals, guys! He's not on the Phillies anymore! That will make me smile for a long, long time.

There's a game tonight, and it will not feature Jonathan Papelbon! Yay!

Today's Lineups

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES TORONTO BLUE JAYS
Ben Revere - CF Troy Tulowitzki - SS
Freddy Galvis - SS Josh Donaldson - 3B
Maikel Franco - 3B Jose Bautista - DH
Ryan Howard - DH Chris Colabello - 1B
Jeff Francoeur - LF Russell Martin - C
Domonic Brown - RF Danny Valencia - LF
Carlos Ruiz - C Ezequiel Carrera - RF
Darin Ruf - 1B Kevin Pillar - CF
Andres Blanco - 2B Ryan Goins - 2B
Jerome Williams - RHP R.A. Dickey - RHP

Andres Blanco is getting a start tonight, and has seemed to play himself into more time on the field. So to make room for him at second, Cesar Hernandez is riding the bench tonight. Darin Ruf is at first while Howard starts at DH, and Chooch gets a start as well. Troy Tulowitzki is making his Blue Jays debut. At least after this the Phillies won't have to face him so much. Though, of course he's traded to the Blue Jays in time for the Phillies to face him. Against the Phillies, Tulowitzki has hit .333/.413/.581.

Jerome Williams has a chance to extend the Phillies winning streak to six, and bring them to 10-1 since the break. His last start was pretty good, but he's also Jerome Williams. We'll just have to find out together.
