Hi guys! It's time for another Phillies game! And everything is super great with the Phillies, thanks for asking! The Phillies most certainly haven't pulled back on Papelbon trade talks, and Ruben Amaro isn't flapping his piehole about whatever comes into his brain, and Jonathan Pettibone isn't having surgery again. And those are just the three most recent things that totally haven't happened, because everything is fine! Everything is functioning normally, things are great.

Today's Lineups

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES LOS ANGELES DODGERS
Cesar Hernandez - 2B Yasiel Puig - RF
Odubel Herrera - CF Howie Kendrick - 2B
Maikel Franco - 3B Justin Turner - 3B
Darin Ruf - 1B Adrian Gonzalez - 1B
Jeff Francoeur - LF Scott Van Slyke - LF
Carlos Ruiz - C Joc Pederson - CF
Freddy Galvis - SS Jimmy Rollins - SS
Domonic Brown - RF A.J. Ellis - C
Adam Morgan - LHP Clayton Kershaw - LHP

Things are great. They really are. Nothing is wrong. The rebuild is going perfectly. Oh, you want to know what that sound is? Those are just the demons that haunt my every waking moment. They're loud, but you get used to them. You can get used to anything. Like the idea that the Phillies have to be getting better. They need to be, because otherwise what is all this for? Things on the inside of the organization are totally going great, because otherwise this crap sack of a season would seem like a giant screech into void of continuing hopelessness and despair.

So everything is super.
