Game 129 Open Thread: Padres at Phillies

Oh thank God it's the Padres.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Look! The Phillies are playing Not The Mets! It could be literally any other team ever, as long as it's not the Mets. It could be the Giants or the Cardinals, two teams I hate, and I'd be perfectly happy with that. Yankees. Dodgers. Blue Jays. Braves. It could be any of them, I don't care, because none of those teams are named the Mets. That tonight it's the Padres, a team the Phillies have so recently dominated, is really just a bonus.

Today's Lineups

SAN DIEGO PADRES PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES
Melvin Upton Jr. - CF Cesar Hernandez - 2B
Yangervis Solarte - 3B Odubel Herrera - CF
Justin Upton - LF Aaron Altherr - RF
Jedd Gyorko - SS Ryan Howard - 1B
Yonder Alonso - 1B Andres Blanco - 3B
Derek Norris - C Cody Asche - LF
Cory Spangenberg - 2B Cameron Rupp - C
Ian Kennedy - RHP Freddy Galvis - SS
Travis Jankowski - RF Aaron Nola - RHP

The most notable thing about tonight's lineup is that Aaron Altherr is facing a right-handed starter for the first time. Let's see how he does.
