Toledo 1, Lehigh Valley 0
Anthony Vasquez - 8 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 9 K, 8 GB, 3 FB
Tyler Henson - 0 for 4, 2 K
Brian Bogusevic - 1 for 4, 2B, 2 K
Aaron Altherr - 0 for 4, K
Kelly Dugan - 1 for 3 (outfield assist, home)
Gabriel Lino - 1 for 3
KC Serna - 1 for 3, 2 K (throwing error)
Anthony Vasquez's season has been an interesting one. Performances like this one haven't exactly been uncommon the last few weeks, but this was his best outing of the season. With that, keep this in mind he is a 28 year old journeyman with no real chance to contribute to the big club outside of some act of god. The offense took a break, collecting only 4 hits and striking out 10 times.
Reading 8, Trenton 1
Joely Rodriguez - 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 4 K, 9 GB, 0 FB
Hoby Milner - 2 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 K
Tom Windle - 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, BB, K, WP
Ethan Martin - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R
Nick Williams - 1 for 4, 2 R, 2B, BB
J.P. Crawford - 3 for 5, R, 2B, 4 RBI, 2 K (fielding error)
Cam Perkins - 1 for 5, R
Brock Stassi - 1 for 4, 2 R, BB, K
Andrew Knapp - 3 for 4, RBI, BB, K
Harold Martinez - 2 for 4, R, 2B
I'm always happy when I'm wrong on players who outperform my own expectations. Joely Rodriguez is figuring some things out. His groundball tendencies are through the roof and that is a very useful asset. Nick Williams' encore wasn't as exciting as his main showcase on Wednesday. Crawford explodes for 3 hits for the first time since July 3 and his first multi-hit game overall since July 25. You can't stop the Andrew Knapp train, you just have to go along for the ride.
Clearwater 4, Lakeland 0
Matt Imhof - 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K, 4 GB, 5 FB
Jesen Therrien - 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 K

Rhys Hoskins - 1 for 3, R, BB
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 4, R, RBI
Willians Astudillo - 2 for 4, RBI
Chace Numata - 0 for 3, RBI
Matt Imhof improves to 6-4 on the season and strikes out a season high 7 batters. The bullpen shut down the Flying Tigers and the offense took most of their opportunities going 3 for 8 with RISP.
