Game 111 Open Thread: Phillies at Padres

An 8:40 start is almost sort of like a East Coast game!

Hey! The Phillies won last night! That's something that I would know if I hadn't fallen asleep at 10:34 like an old woman. I know I said that West Coast night games are awesome and lovely, but I need to face the facts: I'm over 30 now, which means that after working a five day week, I'm exhausted on Friday night. Thankfully, tonight's game is at a reasonable time!

Today's Lineups

Chase Utley - 2B Yangervis Solarte - 3B
Cesar Hernandez - SS Derek Norris - C
Odubel Herrera - CF Matt Kemp - RF
Maikel Franco - 3B Justin Upton - LF
Ryan Howard - 1B Jedd Gyorko - 2B
Domonic Brown - RF Yonder Alonso - 1B
Cody Asche - LF Clint Barmes - SS
Cameron Rupp - C Melvin Upton Jr. - CF
Adam Morgan - LHP Tyson Ross - RHP

Now we get to see Pete Mackanin's plan in action. Utley starts at second base for the second straight night, so Freddy Galvis sits so Cesar Hernandez can get a start at shortstop. Adam Morgan takes the mound. Hopefully he won't make the mound angry by pitching like crap.
