Anthony Vasquez improved to 8-7. Jordan Danks entered the game to pinch hit in the 6th inning right after the Iron Pigs had gone up 4-3 and hit a grandslam, also his 6th HR of the season. He is likely to be up with the Phillies when LHV season comes to an end. Despite the multi-hit game, Kelly Dugan is still hitting .194 in his last 10 games.

This was his first game since his organizational debut that he had not issued a walk. J.P. Crawford clobbered his 19th and 20th doubles in AA. His Reading line has improved to .270/.361/.420 in 326 at-bats. Dylan Cozens has wasted no time since being promoted, hitting his 2nd AA HR and is 7 for 15 at the plate overall.

Jiandido Tromp - 1 for 3, RBI, K
Joel Fisher - 0 for 5, K
Emmanuel Marrero - 0 for 3, R, BB, HBP
Austin Davis bounced back from a couple rough starts and earned his 5th win (all as a starter). Matt Hockenberry got his 18th save, which is good for 2nd in the SAL. Deivi Grullon's bat has been on fire as of late, hitting his 2nd homer in as many games and batting .419 in his last 10. His batting line for the season is still abysmal, but reports from behind the plate are still really good. He will need to break out at the plate if he hopes to have more than a backup catcher profile.

Austin Bossart - 2 for 4, R, 2B, 2 RBI (passed ball)
William Cuicas - 1 for 4, K (fielding error)
The Crosscutters did it! Their first division title since 2001 and will likely finish with the best overall record in the NY/Penn League. The offense pounded Auburn with 15 hits and 6 walks. Both Jan Hernandez and Carlos Duran were HR's away from hitting for the cycle. After this game, Josh Tobias' hitting line improved to .318/.364/.464 in 220 at-bats. The glove needs considerable work, but the bat has made the adjustment from college ball. It will be interesting if they double-jump the 22 year old to Clearwater in 2016.
