Game 147 Open Thread: Nationals at Phillies

I'm ready to not see the Nationals for awhile.

The Phillies have just one game left before they don't have to see the Nationals again until 2016. And that's true! As if I need to remind you that the Nats probably (very probably) won't be making the playoffs, so when the season ends, we won't have to tolerate Danny Espinosa and his aggressive stubble any longer. But if there was a way for Bryce Harper and his undying awesomeness to play for a playoff bound team, I'd be very happy with that. Yeah, he hit two home runs against the Phillies last night, but he is SO GOOD.

Do you know what time it is? It's Sesame Street clip time!

How do kids learn about how to scrub in the tub without this amazing, catchy song. And it has all your favorite Sesame Street friends! Ernie! Gladys the cow! The Count! Guy Smiley! Telly! Oscar the Grouch! Biff the Construction Worker! That owl guy! God I love Sesame Street. Thank you for existing, Sesame Street! You're making every game thread just that much easier.

Time for the lineup. Or "lineup."

Today's Lineups

WASHINGTON NATIONALS PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES
Anthony Rendon - 2B Freddy Galvis - SS
Yunel Escobar - 3B Andres Blanco - 2B
Bryce Harper - RF Aaron Altherr - CF
Jayson Werth - LF Jeff Francoeur - RF
Clint Robinson - 1B Darin Ruf - 1B
Ian Desmond - SS Darnell Sweeney - LF
Jose Lobaton - C Chase d'Arnaud - 3B
Michael Taylor - CF Cameron Rupp - C
Gio Gonzalez - LHP Alec Asher - RHP

My question: Will Alec Asher improve enough tonight to lead the Lehigh Valley IronPigs to victory? Because this is surely a AAA lineup if I ever saw one. 15 games left!
