Last night was GLORIOUS. There isn't a better word for it. GLORIOUS. The hitting and the homering and the beating the Mets to a bloody pulp, it was all so great. And thankfully, tonight is the end of this series. The Phillies don't see the Mets again until the second-to-last series of the season, nearly a month from now. That is excellent, excellent news.
But do you know what's better than all of that? THE COUNT.
The dancing, singing back-up bats are everything. "Batty batty batty batty batty batty batty bat!" I'll be singing that all night long. And loving every minute.
It's Nola night, everybody! AND he's facing Matt Harvey. If you like good young pitching, then you're in the right place.
NOW DANCE WITH ME DOING THE BATTY BAT! And discuss the game in the comments below.
