Game 155 Open Thread: Phillies at Nationals

It's Aaron Nola day!

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

I'd like to start by saying that last night was TOTALLY AWESOME. Jerad Eickhoff was superb and the Nationals were TERRIBLE. It was utterly satisfying. Plus, Matt Williams cemented his status as the dickiest manager in baseball when he pulled Jordan Zimmermann for a pinch hitter and denied him the chance for a curtain call in front of his home crowd in what was probably his last home start for the Nationals. I mean, that is a dick move. I am so thankful that he's not the manager of the Phillies.

It's time for today's Sesame Street clip!

That is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. Grover is at his cutest and he's interacting with perhaps the most adorable child of all time. This is an instant day brightener.

Today's Lineups

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES WASHINGTON NATIONALS
Freddy Galvis - SS Anthony Rendon - 2B
Aaron Altherr - CF Yunel Escobar - 3B
Cody Asche - 3B Bryce Harper - CF
Darin Ruf - 1B Jayson Werth - RF
Andres Blanco - 2B Clint Robinson - 1B
Brian Bogusevic - RF Ian Desmond - SS
Cameron Rupp - C Matt den Dekker - LF
Darnell Sweeney - LF Wilson Ramos - C
Aaron Nola - RHP Stephen Strasburg - RHP

Will lightning strike twice? Will the Phillies manage to look competent against the Nationals once again? With Stephen Strasburg on the mound it's going to be a lot harder today. But you never know!
