Game 136 Open Thread: Phillies at Red Sox

You know, I could talk about last night's game in this space. I could talk about the Red Sox, or how the Phillies lost again. I could talk about any of those things! But I really don't want to. Instead, I'd like to talk to you about someone very important, who recently emerged from his secret garden somewhere in New Jersey...

This is brilliant. BRILLIANT. It promotes vegetables to kids while also being absolutely bonkers weird and funny for adults. What is he even supposed to be dressed as? Is he a rabbit? I think so, given the teeth and the ears and the whiskers. But where are his eyes? He's got one long unibrow instead of eyes! It would be creepy if it weren't for all the rabbit stuff. And seriously, is he supposed to be Bugs Bunny? That doesn't even make sense.

Back to baseball!

Frenchy is DHing today in Boston with Alec Asher making his second ever start for the Phillies. I bet it's a little intimidating making your second ever major league start at Fenway Park. So best of luck to him! I'm sure he'll do great. Positive reinforcement!
