Jerad Eickhoff (1-1) 1.50 ERA
PHILLIES: Eickhoff continued to show why the Phillies were so high on him all spring, using his curveball to get seven of his nine strikeouts in seven innings of shutout ball against the Padres last Wednesday.
Noah Syndergaard (1-0) 0.69 ERA
METS: Easily the Mets’ most successful starting pitcher through two rotation turns, Syndergaard will look to build on his success against the Phillies. All he did against them last year was go 2-0 with a 1.46 ERA, 15 strikeouts and two walks in two starts.
