SERIES PREVIEW

Phillies (26-25) vs Nationals (31-21)

Citizens Bank Park

7:05PM EDT on CSN

Aaron Nola (4-3) 2.86 ERA

PHILLIES: Nola (4-3, 2.86 ERA) has faced the Nationals twice this season, taking the loss after surrendering seven runs in five innings April 16 and getting a no-decision when he threw seven scoreless frames April 28.

Joe Ross (4-4) 2.52 ERA

NATIONALS: Manager Dusty Baker is showing confidence in Ross. In the seventh inning Thursday, the Cardinals had runners on first and second with no outs. Baker let Ross handle the jam, and he struck out Yadier Molina then induced an inning-ending double play.
