Game Thread: Phillies vs Nationals 6/11/16

Heyyy at least Nola is pitching.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Phillies (29-32) vs Nationals (37-24)

Citizens Bank Park

12:05PM EDT on CSN and MLB Network

Aaron Nola (5-4) 2.65 ERA

PHILLIES: Nola put a runner on base each of his six innings last start against the Brewers, but he didn’t let any of them score. Nola left the game having recorded his ninth straight quality start, a streak only matched by the Giants’ Madison Bumgarner.

Tanner Roark (9-0) 2.85 ERA

NATIONALS: Roark is coming off his shortest outing of the season last time out against the Reds, who tagged him for five runs on seven hits in three innings. But he often has pitched deep, completing at least six innings in all but three of his 12 starts.
