Anthony Vasquez was much better last night than in his 2016 AAA debut last week. He left the game with the lead and in line for the win. Luis Garcia gave up the tying run in the bottom of the 8th. The game would go into extra innings, but it wouldn't take long for the lead to change. J.P. Crawford, after a lead-off single, would be singled homed by Andrew Knapp to move ahead in the top of the 10th. Edward Mujica locked the game down with his league-leading 16th save (4 ahead of the 2nd best total). Darnell Sweeney hit his 4th HR of the season and @misunderstood@ Darin Ruf hit his 8th. In his last 10 games, J.P. Crawford is batting .286/.340/.333 with two SB. He also has yet to commit an error at AAA (249 innings).

After a 7 inning 4-hit shutout last week, Ranfi Casimiro got manhandled last night. It was the most earned runs he has given up in a game since 2011 when he was in the Dominican Summer League. As you may have spotted above, Dalier Hinojosa made a rehab appearance in last night's game. If it was only the bullpen that needed saving with the big-league club. The offense went 1 for 10 with RISP and left 7 on base.

Felix Paulino makes his Williamsport debut after an extremely successful Gulf Coast League campaign last season where he went 50 IP, 41 H, 13 ER, 5 BB, 46 K. He was stellar again last night and was in line for the win. Kenny Koplove would allow a leadoff single in the bottom of the 9th and follow it with an RBI double. He was then replaced by Will Hibbs who would himself allow an RBI single to tie the game. Hibbs stayed in the game to pitch the bottom of the 10th. A costly Lucas Williams error put the leadoff runner on 1st. Two groundouts would move the runner to third before a two-out walk-off single to end the game. A bunch of 2016 draft picks made their professional debuts last night including Luke Maglich (34th round), Darick Hall (14th), Tyler Kent (26th) and the previously mentioned Will Hibbs (19th).
