PHILLIES: Velasquez rejoins the rotation after spending most of June on the DL with a strained right biceps. The Phillies never considered the injury serious, but they plan to be careful with one of their prized young starters.

DIAMONDBACKS: Ray is coming off a rough outing in which he allowed four earned runs on four hits in 5 1/3 innings. The lefty had given up just two earned runs over his previous 13 2/3 innings in a pair of wins.
