Many of us have been clamoring for the Phillies to go back to their old, 1970s and '80s retro jerseys a little more often.
Yes, the current jerseys are still pretty (especially the cream ones they wear on Sundays), but there's something about the old school "P" and the powder blue roadies.
Tonight, the Phillies celebrate a throw-back to the '70s night with the Milwaukee Brewers in town. Here is what they are going to wear.

First, the jerseys, which is the look I grew up on and still love.
Classic. Beautiful.
But the Phils will also feature a pillbox cap that is pretty sweet as well.
Here's how it looked back in the day.

It's not clear how many times the Phillies wore the pillbox hats in 1976, but it wasn't often. The Brewers are also getting into the act and, I gotta say, I kinda like their stuff a little better.
I don't care who you are, that's a beautiful shade of blue right there. And the hats are on point as well.
So, as you head on out to the ballpark tonight, wear your best bell bottoms and leisure suit and enjoy two rebuilding teams duke it out for retro supremacy.
