LWD: Jose Tavares, Drew Anderson, Tyler Gilbert, Alberto Tirado

Lehigh Valley 2, Charlotte 1
Anthony Vasquez - 8 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 7 K, 12 GB, 4 FB
Edward Mujica - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K
J.P. Crawford - 1 for 3, BB, SB
Nick Williams - 1 for 4, R, 2B, 2 K
Brock Stassi - 1 for 3, RBI, BB
Cam Perkins - 0 for 4, K
Darnell Sweeney - 1 for 3, 2 K
Anthony Vasquez throws a gem as the IronPigs come back in the 8th inning to break the tie-game. After a 1-out double from Nick Williams and a Darin Ruf single, Brock Stassi would produce a ground-out RBI to put LHV ahead. Edward Mujica wrapped up the game with his league-leading 20th save. With his stolen base last night, J.P. Crawford is 5 for 6 in steal attempts at AAA.
Reading 13, Harrisburg 5
Ricardo Pinto - 6 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 4 ER, BB, 6 K, HR, 8 GB, 1 FB (pickoff error)
Daniel Stumpf - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K
Mario Hollands - 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, K
Joely Rodriguez - 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, HR
Jesmuel Valentin - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2B, BB, 2 K
Jorge Alfaro - 1 for 4, 2 R, RBI, BB
Dylan Cozens - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2B, HR, 4 RBI, BB
Rhys Hoskins - 1 for 5, HR, 4 RBI, K
Angelo Mora - 0 for 5, 2 K
Harold Martinez - 2 for 5, HR
Okay, now it's just becoming ridiculous with this Reading team. The Fightins were down 4-1 entering the bottom of the 7th with only 4 hits thus far. KC Serna would get the 7th inning going with an RBI single, then followed by a Alfaro RBI single and finally topped off with a Dylan Cozens 3-run HR (his 22nd). It gets better. In the bottom of the 8th, Harold Martinez and Osmel Aguila hit back-to-back solo HRs to leadoff the inning. Hoskins, obviously feeling left out, hits a grandslam (his 22nd HR) to a sobbing Harrisburg pitcher (probably).
Dunedin 8, Clearwater 4
Luke Leftwich - 5 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, HR, 2 GB, 6 FB
Jose Nin - 1.2 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, HR
Ulises Joaquin - 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, BB, K
Jesen Therrien - 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, K, HR
Carlos Tocci - 0 for 4
Malquin Canelo - 1 for 4, picked off
Scott Kingery - 2 for 4, R, K
Kyle Martin - 2 for 4, R, K
Zach Green - 0 for 3, R, BB, 2 K
Mitch Walding - 2 for 4, RBI
Chace Numata - 0 for 4, RBI, K
Jiandido Tromp - 2 for 4, 2B, HR, K
Herlis Rodriguez - 2 for 3
Luke Leftwich really struggles for the first time this season, giving up a season-high 8 hits and 6 earned runs. Despite collecting 11 hits, the offense goes 1 for 3 with RISP. Jiandido Tromp hit his first HR with Clearwater, giving him 11 total across two levels. Scott Kingery improved his season line to .287/.359/.416 and is likely working himself into consideration for Top 5 2B prospects in the game right now.
Greensboro 7, Lakewood 2
Franklyn Kilome - 4 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 6 GB, 4 FB
Skylar Hunter - 2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 K
Sutter McLoughlin - 3 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 2 K
Zack Coppola - 0 for 4, R, K, SB
Grenny Cumana - 1 for 4, R (throwing and fielding errors)
Josh Tobias - 1 for 3, BB, SB
Wilson Garcia - 0 for 3, 2 RBI
Damek Tomscha - 0 for 4, K
Jose Pujols - 1 for 4, 3 K
Edgar Cabral - 0 for 4
Luis Espiritu - 2 for 3
Emmanuel Marrero - 0 for 3, K (fielding error)
Franklyn Kilome didn't have his best stuff last night and fell to 1-7 on the year. He has been a bit more shaky in his last few outings after a pretty good stretch of games in May and early-June. The offense didn't too much to help his cause either with only 5 hits and 1 walk. Both Zack Coppola and Josh Tobias stole their 6th bases in the game.
Tri-City 8, Williamsport 4
Felix Paulino - 2.2 IP, 10 H, 8 R, 8 ER, BB, K, HR, 6 GB, 1 FB
Blake Quinn - 2.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, BB, 6 K
Kenny Koplove - 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K, WP
Grandy Stubblefield - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, K
David Martinelli - 2 for 5, R, 2B, K
Henri Lartigue - 1 for 4, RBI, BB, K
Lucas Williams - 1 for 4, BB, 2 K
Darick Hall - 0 for 5, K
Luis Encarnacion - 1 for 4, R, BB, 2 K, picked off
Arquimedes Gamboa - 1 for 4, 2 K
Luke Maglich - 3 for 4, K, CS, picked off
William Cuicas - 0 for 3, BB, K
Juan Luis - 3 for 4, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI, SB
It's hard to have a worse outing than Felix Paulino did last night. After a 6 inning shutout in his season debut, he has now gone 6.2 IP, 20 H, 12 ER, 2 BB, 2 K in his last two games. The bullpen helped stop the bleeding a bit. Juan Luis had his first big offense breakout of the season last night, hitting his 1st HR among his 3 hits and swiping his 2nd bag. Arquimedes Gamboa now has hits in back-to-back games, watch out world.
GCL Phillies 10, GCL Yankees East 1
Sixto Sanchez - 5 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, 8 K, 4 GB, 1 FB
Andrew Brown - 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 K
Austin Davis - 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, BB, K, HBP
Jesus Alastre - 0 for 4, BB
Mickey Moniak - 0 for 3
Malvin Matos - 0 for 1, R, BB
Cornelius Randolph - 0 for 3, K
Josh Stephen - 1 for 1, R, BB
Danny Zardon - 3 for 5, R, 2B
Edwin Rodriguez - 1 for 3, 2 R, 2 BB, K
Jhailyn Ortiz - 2 for 4, 3 R, 2 2B, 4 RBI, K
Nerluis Martinez - 2 for 2, R, RBI, BB
Cole Stobbe - 0 for 2
Evan Rogers - 1 for 1, R, 3B, 2 RBI, BB
Raul Rivas - 1 for 4, RBI
To go with an A+ name, Sixto Sanchez had a A+ outing. In his first two starts he has gone 10 IP, 8 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 12 K. Mickey Moniak plays the field for the first time (CF), but fails to get going at the plate. Ditto for Cornelius Randolph. Josh Stephen made his professional debut. The notorious "hard sign" 11th rounder came into the game as Randolph's sub and reached base in both plate appearances. 2016 3rd round pick Cole Stobbe made his debut at SS in the game as well.
