Derek Campbell - 3 for 4, 2 HR, 3 RBI
Jiandido Tromp - 0 for 4, K, SB
It was a noble effort and maybe one of necessity at the time, but Yacksel Rios should probably venture back to the bullpen where he was having mildly better success as a reliever. In Rios' 6 games as a starter: 29 IP, 36 H, 25 ER, 11 BB, 19 K, 3 HR, 4 HBP. Jimmy Cordero makes progress in his rehab and earns a promotion to the Threshers from the GCL Phillies. It wasn't good, but shoulder injuries are tough and it will take some time for him to get into a rhythm. The Threshers were down 8-7 in the bottom of the 8th when Derek Campbell would hit his 2nd HR of the game to tie it back up. Campbell has been on fire as of late, hitting 7 HR in his last 10 games. Don't get too excited though, he is 25 years old playing in the FSL. To cap off the comeback, with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th, Chace Numata would ground into a fielder's choice to score Kingery and win the game.

Juan Luis - 0 for 3, R, BB, SB
JoJo Romero's (2016 4th round pick) 2nd game was much worse than his professional debut a week ago. Thankfully, the bullpen held strong, including Cole Irvin, (2016 5th round pick) as Crosscutters battled back to win the game. Call it a hot streak, but Gamboa now has 7 hits in his last 6 games. The raw, but defensively talented SS definitely needed a stretch like this to get going at the plate. Enmanuel Garcia replaced Mark Laird briefly in LF and hit his 1st stateside HR. Both Alastre and Luis stole their 4th bases of the season. Alastre is now 15 for 33 at the plate in Williamsport.
