Game Thread: Phillies vs Royals 7/2/16

I don't think any of us can take another bad Nola outing.

Phillies (36-45) vs Royals (42-37)

Citizens Bank Park

5:50PM EDT on CSN

Aaron Nola (5-7) 4.45 ERA

PHILLIES: Nola is the first Phillies starter to pitch fewer than four innings in four consecutive starts since Marty Bystrom in 1982. He is 0-3 with a 15.23 ERA in that stretch, allowing 32 hits and 25 runs in just 13 innings.

Danny Duffy (3-1) 3.24 ERA

ROYALS: Duffy matched a career high with eight innings, while posting his fourth quality start of the month, in a win over the Cardinals last Monday. The Royals have gone 6-3 this season with Duffy on the mound since he joined the rotation.
