Lehigh Valley 7, Louisville 3

Adam Morgan - 7 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 K, 7 GB, 6 FB
Darnell Sweeney - 2 for 5, HR, K, CS
J.P. Crawford - 0 for 4, R, BB, K, SB
Nick Williams - 1 for 5, R
Brock Stassi - 3 for 3, 2 R, HR, BB, HBP

Adam Morgan pitches to his 3rd AAA win of the season and wasn't terrible. Darnell Sweeney's bat wakes up and hits his 6th HR of the season, while Brock Stassi swatted his 7th. J.P. Crawford steals his 6th base, giving him 11 across two levels this season.

Hartford 9, Reading 5

Tom Eshelman - 3.2 IP, 11 H, 8 R, 7 ER, BB, 2 K, HR, 7 GB, 2 FB
Mario Hollands - 3.1 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 K, HR, HBP
Alexis Rivero - 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R
Hoby Milner - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K
Jesmuel Valentin - 1 for 4, R, BB
Andrew Pullin - 0 for 4, R, BB, 2 K
Aaron Altherr - 1 for 3, RBI, HBP
Jorge Alfaro - 0 for 4, K
Rhys Hoskins - 2 for 4, HR, 2 RBI, 2 K
Angelo Mora - 1 for 2, R, 2B, RBI

Tom Eshelman just can't seem to find his footing in AA. He saw his ERA rise nearly 2 runs after this effort (6.75). Rhys Hoskins remains an absolute treasure, hitting his MiLB-leading 27th HR. Aaron Altherr began his rehab last night in Reading and pitchers just keep on pegging him with pitches. Please stop that.

Clearwater 3, Fort Myers 2

Will Morris - 7 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, HR, 7 GB, 6 FB
Tom Windle - 0.1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 2 BB
Ulises Joaquin - 0.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R
Jimmy Cordero - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K
Carlos Tocci - 1 for 3, R, BB, K
Malquin Canelo - 1 for 3, R, BB, SB, CS
Scott Kingery - 1 for 4, R, 2B, K
Mitch Walding - 1 for 3, 2B, RBI, BB, 2 K
Chace Numata - 2 for 4, RBI
Derek Campbell - 0 for 4, K
Jiandido Tromp - 1 for 3, K (outfield assist, home)
Drew Stankiewicz - 0 for 2, BB, 2 K
Herlis Rodriguez - 0 for 3

Will Morris carried a no-hitter into the 7th before giving up a 1-out HR. It was a stellar outing for Morris, who improved to 6-2 and lowered his FSL ERA to 3.06. Jiandido Tromp saved the game by throwing out a runner at home in the Top of the 8th to hold onto the 1-run lead. Malquin Canelo steals his 9th base (and gets caught for the 7th time). Chance Numata has been hitting the ball well this season and holds a .299/.362/.391 line.

Lakewood 4, Kannapolis 2

Jose Tavares - 8 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 10 K, HR, 3 GB, 6 FB
Sutter McLoughlin - 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, K
Zack Coppola - 1 for 2, R, 2 BB, SB, CS
Cornelius Randolph - 0 for 4
Josh Tobias - 2 for 3, 2 R, 2B, BB
Damek Tomscha - 1 for 3, R, 2B, 2 RBI
Jose Pujols - 1 for 4, RBI, 2 K
Wilson Garcia - 1 for 4, RBI, K
Deivi Grullon - 0 for 2, BB
Carlos Duran - 0 for 3, 2 K
Grenny Cumana - 0 for 3

Jose Tavares strikeouts out double-digit batters for the second time this season (he struck out 15 back on 6/25). The offense went 3 for 9 with RISP and left 5 on base. Zack Coppola stole his 11th base. Josh Tobias' 23rd double moved him into a tie for 4th in the South Atlantic League.

Williamsport 1, Batavia 0 (10 innings)

Bailey Falter - 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, BB, 10 K, WP, 5 GB, 2 FB
Scott Harris - 1.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, K
Will Hibbs - 2.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 3 K
Mark Laird - 2 for 4, K, CS
Arquimedes Gamboa - 0 for 4, 3 K
David Martinelli - 0 for 4, 2 K
Darick Hall - 0 for 2, BB, 2 K, HBP
Gregori Rivero - 0 for 3, BB, K
Luis Encarnacion - 0 for 4, 2 K
Chandler Hall - 0 for 4, 2 K
Luis Espiritu - 1 for 3, BB, K
Juan Luis - 0 for 4 (fielding error)

Bailey Falter struckout a career-high 10 batters in last night's contest. The pitching would be phenomenal from both teams, with offenses combining for 7 hits through the first 9 innings. Williamsport would get their run without even hitting the ball. Here is the sequence that score the run: HBP, BB, K, K, BB, WP. Exciting!

GCL Phillies 8, GCL Pirates 3

Kevin Gowdy - 3 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 5 GB, 3 FB (fielding error)
Will Stewart - 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, WP, HBP
Luis Gonzalez - 2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, BB, K
Randy Alcantara - 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K, HBP
Jose Nin - 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 K
Jose Antequera - 0 for 5, R, K
Josh Stephen - 1 for 4, 2B, 2 RBI, HBP
Mickey Moniak - 2 for 5, R, RBI, K
Jhailyn Ortiz - 2 for 3, HR, 2 BB, K, SB
Jan Hernandez - 1 for 2, RBI
Raul Rivas - 0 for 2 (throwing error)
Nerluis Martinez - 0 for 1, R, HBP
Lenin Rodriguez - 2 for 2, R
Cole Stobbe - 0 for 3, BB, K (fielding error)
Edwin Rodriguez - 2 for 3, HR, 2 RBI, BB, K
Ben Pelletier - 0 for 3, 2 R, BB

Kevin Gowdy gets roughed up for the second start in a row. The two walks issued yesterday were his first two of the season. Jhailyn Ortiz continues to show why he was considered a Top International Free Agent from a year ago. His HR was his 6th and his SB was his 2nd. The two walks were probably most encouraging. His season slash is .312/.404/.623 in 77 at-bats. While not as flashy as Ortiz, Mickey Moniak's line so far is .324/.382/.412 in 68 at-bats. Edwin Rodriguez hit his 1st HR of the season, a two-run bomb in the 8th inning.
