Phillies trade deadline update: Felske Files Episode 58 (PODCAST)

With the MLB trade deadline about two weeks away, host John Stolnis breaks down what the Phillies might do with Comcast SportsNet's Corey Seidman. Also, nine rules to "fix" MLB, but will they work? And Pete Mackanin says Cole Hamels is not an ace. OK then!

A number of Phillies could soon be on the move.

Jeremy Hellickson should probably have his bags packed already. Closer Jeanmar Gomez would be a valuable reliever for someone. Peter Bourjos’ hot 45 days could make him enticing for a contender, and the Phils could unload one of their catchers.

It won’t be as exciting as last year, but there are things the Phillies could do at the deadline in two weeks. With me this week is Comcast SportsNet’s Corey Seidman to help break down the latest rumors.

Also...

  • The Phillies cannot hit at home... what’s the deal?
  • Aaron Nola looks like he’s back (thank goodness).
  • Vincent Velasquez continues to impress since his DL stint.
  • Tommy Joseph, tower of power and red-hot once again.
