Rhys Hoskins hit his MiLB-leading 29th HR last night, which accounted for the only run of the game between both teams. Tyler Viza bounced back from a subpar start last week in which he allowed 3 runs in 5 innings while walking 3. Between Reading and Clearwater, Viza has a 3.14 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 106 innings of work. Scott Kingery made his AA debut in the game.

Harold Arauz's second rehab start goes rather poorly and the GCL Phils have to battle back to eventually win it. Roman Quinn makes his first rehab appearance after a lengthy absence. Mickey Moniak tied the game in the 7th inning with a bases-loaded triple. Daniel Garner delivered the eventual winning hit with a RBI-double in the 8th to score Edwin Rodriguez. Ben Pelletier continues to struggle at the plate and his batting .200/.243/.257 in 35 at-bats.
