PHILLIES: Eickhoff threw his curveball 28 times in Tuesday’s victory over the Marlins. He had gotten away from the pitch recently, which had puzzled Phillies coaches because it might be one of the better curveballs in baseball.

Joel De La Cruz (0-3) 4.66 ERA

BRAVES: De La Cruz will make his first start since July 4 vs. the Phillies, when he allowed seven runs (four earned) on nine hits. The right-hander has been pitching out of the bullpen since, posting a 3.68 ERA across 7 1/3 innings.
