Jeremy Hellickson gave everybody quite a scare on Wednesday, huh?
After grabbing his side and being forced to leave his excellent start against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the series finale, it appears as if Hellickson is going to be OK to make his next start. That’s good news, because the Phils rotation right now is in tatters.
Aaron Nola and Zach Eflin are now both on the disabled list, Vince Velasquez will soon be shut down and Jake Thompson, a rookie, is also not going to make it all the way through September.
It could be a very ugly final month for the Phils’ rotation.
