Game #n+1: Phillies vs Pirates

Let's all follow Trev's example and come up with absurd proposition bets that end with eating an article of clothing.

Phillies vs Pirates

7:05PM EDT on CSN

Jerad Eickhoff
Jerad Eickhoff 10-13 (3.73 ERA)

PHILLIES: Jerad Eickhoff enters the game almost sure to be the brightest spot in a mostly gray 2016 season. (Yes, I'm still not sold on Hernandez long term. Maybe I should propose an eat my shorts bet on this.) So far in September Eickhoff has accumulated 12 IP, 2 R, 9:2 K:BB and 11 H. In his last outing he posted a 66 Game Score, which is his 4th best for the season and also his mode (3 times).

Chad Kuhl (3-3) 4.09 ERA

PIRATES: The picture from last night works just as well tonight. Kuhl was a midseason call-up to aid a struggling, banged-up rotation. While he wound a string of quality starts in July and August, he recently has been not very good. In his last start the Cardinals (may they miss the playoffs) knocked him out after just 2 innings and the FO decided to skip his next start. Fortunately for him tonight, he's facing the Phillies futures team and not a Major League lineup.
