Scranton/WB 7, Lehigh Valley 0

Anthony Vasquez - 4 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 8 GB, 2 FB
J.P. Crawford - 0 for 4
Nick Williams - 1 for 3, 2B, K, HBP
Andrew Knapp - 0 for 4, K
Cam Perkins - 0 for 4, K
Brock Stassi - 1 for 3, 2B, K
Jesmuel Valentin - 1 for 3, 2B, K

Lehigh Valley picked a really unfortunate time to be bad. Anthony Vasquez with one of his worst outings of the season following a spectacular regular season finale (8 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, BB, 8 K). The offense behind him combined for 4 hits, no walks and went 0 for 9 with RISP. The IronPigs face elimination with a loss tonight. Also, whoever has a J.P. Crawford voodoo doll, leave it alone please.

Trenton 9, Reading 4

Ricardo Pinto - 3 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 3 GB, 2 FB
Jesen Therrien - 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB
Tom Windle - 0.1 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB
Alexis Rivero - 2.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, BB
Miguel Nunez - 1 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, BB
Roman Quinn - 2 for 4, R, RBI, BB, SB
Jorge Alfaro - 1 for 3, RBI, K
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 4, HR, K
Rhys Hoskins - 0 for 4, K
Scott Kingery - 2 for 4, R, K

It's been a rough season for Mr. Pinto, as he has found very little consistency, neither good or bad. This would be a sad cap to the season for the 22 year old righty. The bullpen was equally as bad and gave the offense little chance for a comeback behind them. Hoskins is 0 for 7 through both playoff games. Dylan Cozens did add his 41st HR of the season last night and Roman Quinn stole his 2nd base in the playoffs. The Fightins also face elimination with a loss tonight. I fear with the trend of things lately, I'll be sobbing with an adult beverage in my hands this evening.
