This year's Phillies Wall of Fame selection is all but a foregone conclusion.
Look gang, it's gonna be Pete Rose. MLB announced this week they had given the Phils permission to add Rose's name to their list of 10 candidates to be enshrined in the team's Wall out behind center field, and it seems as though even if the fan vote chooses one of the other nine candidates, team officials are going to select Charlie Hustle.
But is this the right move? Does he deserve such an honor. given his brief stay with the team, his gambling past and his overall numbers that weren't so great? John Stolnis and Justin Klugh discuss that on this week's episode of The Felske Files.
Also, John and Justin recap this weekend's exhibition action, including Maikel Franco's hilarious inside-the-park home run, Rhys Hoskins bashing a ball to Neptune, and the work being done by Brock Stassi to make the 25-man roster.
In addition, there's a little trivia to start the show, and an interesting DH rule that aims to unify the rules and try to make everyone happy, which will of course lead to no one being happy.
