Phillies Split-Squad Game Thread, March 29th

With Spring Training winding down, the Phillies split the squad, sending two groups on the road.

The Phils are in rare road split squad games today:

One group heads an hour east from Clearwater to Lakeland, to face the Tigers. Luis Garcia, fighting for his major league life, gets the start.

The other group heads an hour south across Tampa Bay to Bradenton to face the Pirates. Joely Rodriguez gets the start there.
