Weather or not, the Phillies want to get out of Cincinnati.

Last night’s game was pretty dismal, and I’m not just talking about the weather. The Phillies clearly want to get the hell out of Cincinnati, and as an Ohio resident, I can’t really blame them.

Today’s game looks like it’ll be played despite the ever-present threat of rain, so let’s get to the lineups.

Today's Lineups

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES CINCINNATI REDS
Cesar Hernandez - 2B Billy Hamilton - CF
Daniel Nava - LF Jose Peraza - 2B
Odubel Herrera - CF Joey Votto - 1B
Maikel Franco - 3B Adam Duvall - LF
Michael Saunders - RF Eugenio Suarez - 3B
Andrew Knapp - C Scott Schebler - RF
Brock Stassi - 1B Zack Cozart - SS
Freddy Galvis - SS Stuart Turner - C
Clay Buchholz - RHP Rookie Davis - RHP

Clay Buchholz starts for the Phillies today, and now’s our first chance to see if his abysmal spring training performance will carry over into the regular season. Let’s hope it doesn’t.

Let’s also hope for more patient at-bats, a few more hits, and no unnecessary base stealing. Is that too much to ask? Is it?
