Tonight is the night we’ve been looking forward to/dreading for months.
It’s Aaron Nola’s first start.
I’m incredibly nervous. It’s unfair to expect too much of him in his very first major league start of the year, but at the same time I want him to be better so, so much. I want him to be the Aaron Nola we all remember.
But now, it’s time to take a deep breath and get to the lineups.
|WASHINGTON NATIONALS||PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES|
|Trea Turner - SS||Cesar Hernandez - 2B|
|Adam Eaton - CF||Howie Kendrick - LF|
|Bryce Harper - RF||Odubel Herrera - CF|
|Daniel Murphy - 2B||Maikel Franco - 3B|
|Ryan Zimmerman - 1B||Michael Saunders - RF|
|Jayson Werth - LF||Tommy Joseph - 1B|
|Anthony Rendon - 3B||Cameron Rupp - C|
|Matt Wieters - C||Freddy Galvis - SS|
|Jeremy Guthrie - RHP||Aaron Nola - RHP|
What do I want for tonight’s game, besides Aaron Nola being okay? I want Tommy Joseph to get a hit. I don’t care what kind of hit it is, it just needs to be a hit. Because if he goes five games without one, I’m going to start getting a little nervous.
