In a system devoid of lefties, Leibrandt offers a small (see: very small) hope. After batting .304 in his first 15 games, Scott Kingery has been a bit quieter, hitting just .188 in his last 4.

Even after a tough beginning to the game, Seranthony Dominguez settled into the game and threw 5 scoreless frames after a 2-run 1st inning. According to Matt (and to the broadcast), Dominguez was sitting 95-98 with his fastball. He was backed up with HR’s from Laird (1), Marrero (3) and Grullon (3). Grullon’s 3-run blast in the 5th proved to be the difference in the game.
