The offense was able to muster 4 runs despite just 6 hits. J.P. Crawford’s slump continued. Rhys Hoskins keeps doing Rhys Hoskins things. Nick Williams added another hit to extend his hitting streak to 8 games.

Reading is slumping hard, falling again yesterday afternoon to a season-high 6 game losing streak. Drew Anderson and Co. had an adventure of a 1st inning that included 3 walks, 3 hits and 2 errors that resulted in 4 runs (2 earned). The offense was pretty ho-hum outside of the usual from Scott Kingery and Andrew Pullin. Kingery’s big day boosted his OPS to a crazy 1.021.
