This was one of those days where I really could have used a Phillies day game. A good excuse to laze around midday and drink beer, you know? I mean, I did that anyway because it’s a holiday, but I would have liked to have an excuse to do that.

This is the day that Odubel Herrera finally sits. Howie Kendrick is back, and that gives Pete Mackanin the perfect chance to give Odubel the day off. And I think he needs it, too.
