Game Thread 5/5: Nationals at Phillies

Hey it’s the Nationals again.

You know, I’m pretty annoyed to have to watch the Nationals again. And I just checked the schedule and apparently the Phillies face the Nationals next weekend, too! What is with that? Were the schedulers trying to torture us?

I’m just feeling down after the 1-6 road trip. Hopefully the Phillies can pick up the pace again tonight. When they face the Nationals. Again.

It’s Nick Pivetta night! I’m excited. Will the bullpen be functional? Who knows. Will the offense remember how to hit? No idea! But Nick Pivetta is pitching tonight, and that’s something I can look forward to.
