Game Thread 6/21: Cardinals at Phillies

Mercy.

MLB: Arizona Diamondbacks at Philadelphia Phillies Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

So, okay. There’s at least one positive thing we can carry forward from last night. Phillies pitching lasted 10 innings against the Cardinals, and held their offense to just one run. That’s a good thing.

I won’t mention that the Phillies offense was also held to one run, and that in the 11th inning, the bullpen had a messy explosion that cost the team a frankly stupid amount of runs. I’m not mentioning that. Nope.

And hey, at least Edubray Ramos and Casey Fein can’t pitch tonight! Silver lining!
