The Dirty Inning, Episode 13: You really blue this one, Larry.

You can't win them all. But especially not this one.

The Phillies lived in fear of two things in 1994: Labor disputes and their new weekday day game alternate blue hats.

With two losses already in the books in their flashy blue new head gear by April 19, there were already grumbles that it was cursed. Eric Karros, Tim Wallach, and the Dodgers entered the top of the eighth inning that day intent on solidifying the "yeah, the hats are cursed!" theory against Phillies reliever and future press box margarita-sipper Larry Andersen.
