Today is an exciting day! For us, and for Rhys Hoskins.
He’s playing first base today! For the first time in the majors, Hoskins will play his natural position. And I feel confident that he’ll get his first hit. He’ll be as comfortable as he can be. Plus, Nick Williams and Jorge Alfaro will be right there. Just like in Lehigh.
The Phillies have a chance today to split this four-game series with the Mets, instead of going 3-1. And strictly speaking, they don’t need the win. A loss would definitely keep them ahead of the White Sox for the worst record. But this is against the Mets. With the Mets, it’s personal.
