Smell ya later, Nats.

Washington Nationals v Philadelphia Phillies
Come back to us, Rhys.

This is the last time the Phillies will face the Nationals in 2017, and I am thrilled. Sadly, because they’ll be in playoffs, they won’t be completely gone from 2017.

Bleh. But hey, if this isn’t the year that the Nationals break their playoff series curse (they’ve never won one), then we get to watch them fail. Sometimes, that’s all you can hope for.

Today's Lineups

WASHINGTON NATIONALS PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES
Trea Turner - SS Cesar Hernandez - 2B
Bryce Harper - RF Freddy Galvis - SS
Daniel Murphy - 2B Nick Williams - RF
Ryan Zimmerman - 1B Rhys Hoskins - 1B
Anthony Rendon - 3B Aaron Altherr - LF
Jayson Werth - LF Odubel Herrera - CF
Michael Taylor - CF Jorge Alfaro - C
Pedro Severino - C J.P. Crawford - 3B
Tanner Roark - RHP Mark Leiter - RHP

Aside from FREDDY GALVIS AT SHORTSTOP AGAIN, UGGGGGGGHHH, this is close to a perfect lineup. Well, Mark Leiter Jr. isn’t perfect, but he’s been a damn blessing this season. This will be his last start, so thanks for everything, Mark!
