Phils visit Steinbrenner Field for a night game

MLB: Spring Training-Detroit Tigers at New York Yankees Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Phillies only have three night games on their Grapefruit League schedule, and tonight’s is the first of those as they visit the Yankees at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa.

This game is not televised, but can be heard on WIP (94.1), or followed on Gameday.

Manager Gabe Kapler has a couple of twists in tonight’s lineup:

  • Left Fielder Rhys Hoskins will lead off for the first time in his brief major league career.
  • Cesar Hernandez will continue the team’s efforts to build versatility into the roster by handling shortstop. He’ll also bat 3rd, won’t be his first time, having started two games in the 3 hole in 2015.

1) Hoskins 7

2) Santana 3

3) Hernandez 6

4) Altherr 8

5) Williams 9

6) Alfaro 2

7) Flaherty 5

8) Florimon 4

9) Cozens DH
