FanPost Friday: Strengths and Weaknesses of this Phillies team

So far this year, it’s fair to say that this team has outperformed our expectations so far. While the schedule was set up for them to have some early success due to their playing teams like the Reds, Marlins and Rays, I think we can safely say we didn’t expect them to be 15-9 and a ¹⁄₂ game out of first place. We’ve seen them play extremely well and we’ve seen them play extremely poorly. It makes it exciting for what the rest of this team might be able to do this season, as even though they have played against bad team, wins are wins and count the same once the playoff chase begins.

What I am looking for this week for our FanPost Friday segment is this: what are the strengths and weaknesses of this team? You can talk about individual performances, collective team parts, coaching staff, whatever. What are they doing well? What are they struggling with? What might they do better?
